Freedom Fellowship Leadership

Freedom Fellowship is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief introductions from our leadership team.

Rick & Diana Hocker

Lead Pastor

Since 1989 we have been leading the ministries of Freedom Fellowship with a passionate desire to reach the multi-ethnic and denominationally diverse community of the Tidewater area. Our purpose is to impact the world with the message of Freedom through Christ. Each Sunday I teach the congregation spiritual truths from God’s word that assist them in discovering and living out God’s purpose.

Preston & Lindsey Hocker

Associate Pastor and Student Ministries Director

I am passionate about Jesus, my wife, my daughter and future generations that will rise up in this church.  Originally, I came to Freedom as a 2 year old  when my family moved here.  Later I returned after attending college in San Diego and began serving on our pastoral staff.  I love seeing the lives of people transformed as they come to Jesus.  

As the leader of Student Ministries it is my desire to reach and disciple the next generation.  Currently I am also serving as the "Youth Pastor" of  Freedom's "Youth180" ministry.  

I look forward to serving the people of Freedom and seeing our kids come to know Jesus.

Emory Diggs

Worship Pastor

I’ve been involved in music ministry for over 20 years now; and what an absolute Joy and Privilege it is to use my God given gifts to usher His people into His overwhelmingly loving presence! I’ve also been blessed to come from a musical family/foundation. My mother and all of her siblings are gospel singers; my older and younger brothers both sing; and my father plays lead guitar. So as you can see, music is in my BLOOD! Lol.

It is my earnest desire to see the people of God at Freedom Fellowship, FREE to worship and praise Him with all their heart, mind, soul and strength! No hindrances, no restraints, no agendas…just a free people worshiping and praising God from a true place of thanksgiving and personal freedom. For “God is a Spirit; and they that worship Him, must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth!”

Jess Bullock

Children's Ministry

Jess Bullock has a passion to see children truly know Jesus.  As a kid's pastor she not only leads and directs FreedomKids throughout the week including Sunday Kid's Church but also Wednesday Discipleship and numerous exciting weekly gatherings. Jess is a mother and professional nurse. Your kids are in good hands when Jess is in the room.
